Summer inspiration
Hello there!
Thought about you all summer, but honestly my sunny days have been too crazy to sit down and write. Luckily, the reasons for my crazy busy summer were all good news! I had family visiting us from Argentina, friends visiting us from Denmark, vacation trips to dreamy places… what else could I ask for?
Well, just the pleasant moments that I find when carving, printing or writing about that all 🙂 So, the good news is that those calm days have come, and here I am to tell you a bit about what I’ve been up to lately.
First of all, my tote bag project was a blast to create, I’ve taken it to the beach and loved it even since. I had the butterfly stamp in my head for a long time, until I could really come up with a design that I was happy about.
Making a pattern print was actually quite funny too, and I called this original print “You are unique”. I have gifted this print a couple of times now, to people that I find unique, such as my mom. As life itself, the stamps do not come out exactly how you envision it every time you try it. But let’s be honest, that is also what makes it fun!
I really would like you to try something new before the summer ends, and tell me in the comments how did that go!
Oh and I also have an announcement to do! You can now join my stamp carving and card making class at Michaels in Bellevue, next class will be September 25th at 4pm. Learn more and Sign up now!
